Savitur Yoga is an invitation to come home to yourself - just as you are. Rooted in the Sanskrit word Savitur, meaning "that which illuminates from within," this approach to yoga honors the quiet wisdom already alive in you. Beneath the layers of tension, fatigue, confusion and even trauma, we all share the longing to feel more at home within ourselves and within our community. With intentional trauma-informed practices of yoga, you can begin to befriend your body. Aligning the body, mind and heart, you can tune into the quiet wisdom and allow it to guide you back into relationship with your innate wholeness.
Through the practice of coming into direct contact with your experience, deep awareness and curiosity can carry you through into spaces of movement and stillness. Savitur Yoga offers the tools to engage a spacious practice - a practice designed to cultivate your ability to listen deeply - to the breath, to sensation, to the deep knowing that has always been there. There is nothing to fix, only more of yourself to rediscover, to greet with curiosity and compassion. Slowing down and tuning in, you CAN reconnect with the natural rhythms of balance, resilience and ease - both within yourself and within community.
